Tube Amps 101
Hi,
I have been listening to solid state equipment for ever. Have been reading and hearing about Tubes all over and the arguments go both ways. I would like to come up to speed on this Tube matter. Can those knowledgable about this- and I am sure there are a legion- throw some light on: 1. What should I look at to undrestand Tube amps 2. What is the difference between all those Tube numbers and makes 3. Is there any restriction on the kind of music that this can be heard with. etc etc.... and any other relevant info that you may want to pass on. I am sure this will be an education for me (and perhaps some others too) Tx in advance. ckn
