DVD & Amp under 20 k

Hi, can someone suggest me a good dvd player , amp & speakers ۩ below 20 k and i'm not interested in surround sound

If you are not interested in surround sound, why do you want a DVD Player?

20K for a DVD Player, an amp, and speakers sounds nearly impossible. What I can think of is the following:

1. A DVD Player such as a Samsung or Pioneer that would cost you 5000.
2. A pair of Audioengine 2 powered speakers that are exceeding good. This will cost you another 9000.
3. A 50 watt two channel amplifier from Pulz, Norge, or Radiocraft. This should be around 7500 thousand.

If you can extend you budget a little, you can go in for the much appreciated 340A from Cambridge Audio. This will cost you around 14,000.

Please remember you have to keep a couple of thousand for cables and connectors.

Is there any down mixer available so that I can use a headphone amplifier or stereo speakers with the dvd player ?

Also is it advisable to buy a upsampling dvd player ? As I don't have a HDTV
