micro system

I was considering buying a micro system for the bedroom with a budget of Rs 10,000 (ten thousand only)

requirements - divX, USB playback (so that I can hook up a hard disk for the mp3).

i was looking at

1. philips mcd 515 micro system.
2. Samsung MM - 8

which is better? Are there better stuff (at that budget) available??

Suggestions would be most welcome.

Thank you, but budget is Rs ten thousand. The Onkyo, will be >2x.

Has anyone ever tried a Samsung? I have heard the philips, but could not find the Samsung.

I saw one LG micro which was sort of a universal player. USB/Compact cards/MP3/DivX throw at it, it will play. It costed a little more though, if I remember it correctly. May 12k or so. But sound was good clean (though not powerful enough) and looks were.. awwww!!
