trouble driving my AKG240 headphones
I cant seem to get enough volume from my AKG k240 headphones. Their imp is 600 ohms and that is the main reason. Can anybody suggest any headphone amp for this?

There are good headphone amps from most of the distinguished brands out there; Grado, Musical Fidility, Creek etc.
What is your source, kind of music, budget, type of amp (portable?) Best Regards.

Thanks for ur reply. I mostly listen to rock music on my PC,s Creative Audigy 2 Sound Card. For portable use I use my PSP. My budget wont allow me the brands you mentioned. I am thinking of building a headphone amplifier I found on Net, it is called Headbanger. It seems easy and inexpensive to build.
