Mint Red Wine Audio 30.2 Integrated amp

Folks
Up for sale is my RWA 30.2 amp in mint condition. It has always served as a backup amp in my home system. Its battery powered (about 8 to 12 hours of backup per charge) and comes with a universal battery charger. The manual and remote are included. The Amp is in mint condition, can almost pass of as new and has not seen much useage - I suspect not more than 150 hours tops. Its about 2.5 years old.

It is one of the few components to get the coveted Lunary Eclipse Award from 6moons (not the Bluemoon which is more prevalent).
The battery power nature of this amp makes it dead quiet - with black backgrounds. No expensive power cords needed with this amp.

If you have an easy to drive speaker and are looking for resolution, exceptionally clean and crisp sound, this is it.

I am asking Rs 72K for this unit. New Units were selling for US $3K a while back.

This is superb amplifier ! I have heard it twice. One at ARN and once with rethm the second/sadhana at the Rethm listening room.

Extremely coherent and clean sounding amp with not a hint of brightness. Thanks to the battery power supply !
A very good option for those with sensitive speakers and a worthy replacement for mid-level separates if one wants to simplify the system.

Extremely surprised that this amp is not sold yet.

This amp will walk all over most separates anywhere near this price point and beyond. I sometimes wonder why really good hifi does not find buyers on this forum. People go gaga over mass produced run of the mill gear while extremely worthy gear like this gets ignored. I remember a similar situation when ARj was selling his A21 sugden amp on this forum and recently when the focus speaker was on sale by Sid. Sad state of affairs !

You are right that niche gear in India in general does not have the following that big brands have. It probably has more to do with the general "playing safe" (big brand is safer than a niche brand). I am not referring to forum members as many are 'in general' willing to take more risks that usual and go for performance (in general) compared to big names, but the average customer is another ballgame.

in case people reading have missed this - this is a battery powered amp, and as such an extremely clean amp, very low noise floor and does not require any investment on power cords or conditioners/UPS (at least for the amp). Battery charger comes with the amp, it will easily give 8 to 12 hours of playtime depending on play. Battery is topped up automatically everytime one switches off the amp.

Timing perhaps?! Interested folks may have just spent heavily on some other Audio gear when this comes along. I am in this state most of the time.

OT: Yes, having listened to the dynaudio focus paired with plenum amp overseas, the unsold focus with Sid still beats me. I am glad he decided to keep it himself.

To add to your list of things I don't understand:
Check out the queue for the Promitheus TVC here and when the same was available here a few months ago, it sold only much later inspite of experienced audiophiles recommending this heavily.

I am in total concurrence here with square. This is a great unit and will be a great addition to a system that has efficient speakers. Furthermore I also agree that in general mass market brands seem to hold more appeal to the majority of the buyers on the forum, which is unfortunate because one can build a killer audio system by moving up for the same amount of money and buying gently used products such as the amp in question. That is how I began my quest for serious audio many moons ago by buying stuff from audiogon.

I believe one of the best features of the amp (Other than battery power) is that it is not current limiting and sounds very powerful, hence is capable of very good dynamics/power although its power rating seems low.

problem is the difficulty in auditioning such brands, and lack of listening impressions from trustworthy people.
