McCormack DNA-125 Power Amplifier
Up for sale is a one and half year old McCormack DNA-125 power amplifier. Purchased in india from soundsmiths (230V version). This highly acclaimed power amp can drive just about any speaker and has serious grunt. The sound is very well balanced with a tube like midrange, a very accurate low end and extended highs.

Having heard this amp, I'd say the DNA-125 does 95% of what the 225 does and most of what is written about the 225 is also applicable for the 125. Thank you Dinyaar. Still not decided what I'm upgrading to. Looking at 4-5 amplifiers right now and still in two minds. Need to do an extended audition soon.

Hi,
Will u get Home demo s of all the amps? If sticking to an SS power amp i hope u are going bigger. My speakers sound best when powered by amps which on paper would be overkill! Anyway keep us posted on what u finally end up with. Regards

Yup mostly gonna get a solid state power amp. Looking at quite a few... Plinius SA-102, Odyssey Stratos Extreme, Usher R1.5 (Essentially a clone of a very high end Threshold), Acoustic Portrait dual mono Power Amp and a few more. I should be able to get home demos for most of these.

Hey ROC,
Be patient it will sell. If not on the forum then elsewhere. Since u mention the brands carried by ARN maybe Shridhar could help u dispose too. Ramesh (hifipal4all) is from bglore too and am sure he could help. Here in bombay i could sell a lot of my old gear and cables at pretty close to the prices i hoped for so am sure u will manage the same. Regards
