Sorry Kindofblue, everything (175+ CDs) got sold except Western Classical Music titels advertised before on this forum (25 favorites ...series).

I still have 10 Western classical (Hi End Audiophile) albums from labels like Decca, EMI Classic, Philips, SONY (SACDs) not yet posted. If anybody is interested in Western Classical please let me know.

Thanks everybody, who showed interest in my (actually my cousin’s) CD Sale. My cousin handed over me a list of 274 CD titles, but when I opened those boxes , found only 251 CDs , there was one only Jewel box was while CD was missing which created some problems and misunderstanding. I retained (purchase myself) 45 odd CDs, some 19 CDs were with scratches/playback problems, so not listed for Sale. Rest all 187 CD are sold now (Including some free gifts).

My cousin’s Father-in- law is sending me those missing 23 CDs in due course of time. So I may offer some of those CD for Sale in future.

I tried my level best in keeping the whole transaction honest and transparent. I paid special attention towards packing and promptness while shipping and all complaints (there were hardly any) were addressed immediately to complete satisfaction of the buyer. This all lI earnt from my many (almost all) pleasant buying experiences while my stay abroad. I wish business houses in India too start offering quality services similar to their counter parts in US and Europe.

Buying pre-owned or on-line is still in nascent stage in India and we have a long way to go to reach the levels we find in developed countries. People here are a bit skeptical about pre-owned goods, this has stemmed out of pre-owned Car experiences people had during that Amby-Fiat era. But now pre-owned car market is booming and people are buying pre-owned car just as they buy a new one. I requested to every one who bought CDs from me to post their feedback , this was not to create my reputation as a seller but to build confidence about buying pre-owned goods by putting forward some good examples of pre-owned goods sale.

As far as HiFI is concerned, buying Pre-owned is the way to go. That way one can build a far superior system while on budget and when one upgrades one doesn’t have to take a deep loss (as the first owner had already absorbed it). For a given budget, a well maintained Pre-owned amp is much better than some mediocre, entry level brand new amp. My entire set up, everything from Amp, CD player, DAC, Speakers, CD transport, speaker cables, Analog- Digital interconnects, Equipment rack and part of my music collection is pre-owned. I could build a much better system which otherwise way beyond my reach if I wanted to buy new.

Any way, those are just my thoughts. I once again thank to all who showed interest in my CD sale and to those who purchased CDs from me and posted their feedbacks on the forum.

Please do not bring down the curtain on this thread just yet. I know I am shamefully late in posting but better late than never.

My thanks to Suhas for the many wonderful CDs I have received from him (3 transactions in all - I lost count of the CDs). I greatly enjoyed these transactions - Suhas was impeccably professional and efficient, to a degree that would put Pricewaterhouse Coopers to shame. I received all CDs in superb condition and packed well enough to survive an airdrop. And as others have mentioned, Suhas was generous enough to include an extra CD with one of the shipments -- unless that was a mistake, but I am keeping it anyway (just joking! The generous gesture is appreciated).

So thanks, Suhas, for the wonderful music that my family and I are enjoying very much.

Apperciable job done by Suhas here. I regret that I was not one of those early birds to grab a hold of those CDs. I will look forward to that last batch and see if something interests me.
