Re: 42'' Sony LCD Projection TV
This sounds to be a good product from SONY. Amazon shows some great reviews for this product.
Amazon.com: Sony KDF-E42A10 42-Inch LCD Rear Projection Television: Electronics. How much are you asking for it , Sumit? What would be the shipping cost for a non Delhi buyer (I assume your are based in N.D.) ? One has to add Insurance (2-3% of declared value) and some 3-4% Octroi (if applicable) , Courier company might ask additional charges for such a bulk parcel. Sumit, when you try to sale such items , you need to provide all possible information in one go, at one place. Not every body knows about 'LCD Rear Projection Television' as they know standard LCD and Plasma TVs, may be a link or two to article/s giving info and/or comparisons with other technologies can educate people and might attact many potential customers. People buying pre-onwed gear are quite touchy about original box, packing material, hope you have preserved all that. Also see that all supplied accesories including Remote, manuals etc are included and mention that in your advt..(Sometimes 'Remote with batteries included / not included ' can make or break a deal!) You need to mention what is available and what is not (and why it is not?) Anything pre-owned that is selling with all original boxes , packaging and Manual attracts more buyers. How about Warranty? I believe as the TV is one year + old, it is exhausted . Check with local SONY dealer whether you can purchase any extended warranty and make sure it is transferrable. It better you buy an extended warranty and then sale the TV with Warranty (of course after loading the extended warranty cost into the asking price!). That makes a lot of difference. Sorry to say this but products like TV are slow moving in pre-owned market , in order to move it out of the door fast (it is needless to say), the price should be attractive if not tempting. If you have no clues about how much to expect or rather how much a buyer can willingly pay for this TV, check some ebay (India or US) to get some idea, you may not find extactly the same model traded over there but try checking for similar products from other brands to know about the some recent transaction and pricing trends. If you are not in a position to put up a crisp price tag (I can understand this situation, and gone through this many a times in the past) , at least suggest a range and show willingness for any negotiations. This all (home work/ research ) certainly helps in projecting you as a genuine seller selling personal good (and not a professional pre-owned goods dealer) and this can bring you a potential buyer and at the end you get a fair deal for the product you are selling. I suggest to try ebay India too. Hope this helps and my best wishes to your Sale. Regards SUhas Last edited by SuhasG; 7th August 2008 at 01:52 PM. Reason: Typo |
