I find the Klipsch horn highs to be very fatiguing especially when you listen to music for hours together.

I suggest you take a lengthy audition of the klipsch speakers before committing and buying them.

Monitor Audio makes really nice speakers. MA would be my pick over klipsch any day.
Go audition silver series and above

delhite2, The lack of response is primarily I would say because Klipsch series are not well received in this forum. Most of them would recommend you to stay away from Klipsch when you are concerned about music. For 48k there are some other nice floorstanders from Usher, Monitor Audio and some other brands that you can check out. Or even, for 48k you will get some very very good standmounts and they will do fine with most indian rooms, particularly when augmented with a subwoofer. So, my recommendation to you would be to go out and audition other brands and decide for yourself. Or if you like Klipsch RF82 pick them.
