Quad L-ite: availability and pricing

Hi all,

The Quad L-ite 5.1 speaker package has received good reviews thus far. In addition, its UK price has dropped down to around 500 pounds. Does anyone on this forum know of the current India price and where I can audition one? I cannot seem to find any mention on any of the dealer websites. I assume the India price should also go down since the UK price is less.

Unfortunately not much drop in indian prices. Last i checked with the dealer i think 76k was the offer.

Thanks for the quick response. Can you tell me how long ago you saw the price and which dealers in Mumbai/Pune/Delhi stock the L-ite series?

Don't know about the price, but in Mumbai you can contact Designer Audio, Tel:022-23520320 Mr Kshitij Shah, for all Quad and Wharfedale products.

Hi,

I spoke to Mr. Kshitij yesterday and he told me that Quad L-ite was available for 85k. Silver color.

He was very helpful when I enquired about other brands like Wharfedale and even gave details of a dealer in Hyderabad.

Quite a contrast to Sound & Vision, right?

Thanks for the pricing. That is waaay beyond what I can sensibly pay. Unfortunate, because the L-ites are really a class product...I'm going to see about a used system.

Hi Kumareshwar, it takes all kinds of people to make this world, some good, some bad and others indifferent. Have become philosophical after interacting with many of these so called 'specialists' who don't know from which end they are talking. Kshitij is one of those rarest of rare persons whom you can trust to give sound advise and VFM products. Wish you all the luck in your quest for a speaker package!!!

I totally agree with your opinion on Kshitij. He is very cordial and gives sound advice. Indeed! He belongs to a very rare breed of people who are real good.
