Altec Lansing expressionist bass speakers FX3022

Hi,

Anyone came across this speaker?

Is it better than MX5021? The cost? Any reviews?
I came across this in Altec Lansing Expressionist BASS FX3022 - 2.0 Speakers Review - Multimedia Reviews - TrustedReviews

Can i use it for viewing movies/ or general contents with the TV? (I know its PC speakers, but i would like to plug it to my tv)
Can this be used same as MX5021?

Thanks

its is subjective -if you like computer speaker sound go ahead - it will enhance the lows and the highs which many people like - for an average audiophile who wants quality in music and sound he hears (and not noise) - just my 2 paisa:
1. the treble response is bad
2. the bass response is okayish - the speakers being plastic tend to distort as they start moving themselves
3. not good for music - as it has pathetic midrange

MX5021 IMHO is a better option

hi.

I totally agree. The Mx 5021 sounds much better and deeper in every aspects. The FX 3022 doesnt come any close to the 5021's.And if you consider their price 5021 is a steal. These 3022 are for desktop,to be kept aside of the monitor when the baby is asleep.
