At first glance I thought it was an Usher -- the d'appolito configuration made me think that. That brass nameplate does seem like Acoustic Research though but its usually on the back? Anyway this is a fun game.

Hi
It looks like a TDL loudspeaker.Model I think is RTL-3. The design is "reflex transmission line"as TDL called it. But the brass nameplate does not look like a TDL badge. Regards Rajiv

The ID happened in just six posts!! I'm really impressed...Talk about six degrees of separation
 I thought this wud be kinda difficult as it an extinct Brit co. that went kaput in early 1990s well before the slew of info on the Internet. The keen eyes of Rajiv/awedeophile/Suniil noticed that the brass namepate looks different than the standard TDL badge...the difference is because my model is the Special Edition (RTL3-SE)...Attached is a close-up... Cheers!
