Hi there , I am planing to buy LCD tv with a max budget of 20000. My room size is 12x14. My preference size is 26'. Plz help. I live in kolkata, if u can provide pricing based on my city..wud be beneficial..

Go for moserbaer or AOC or Sansui. You will get a 32" within 20k.
Toshiba may also fall within your range....

I think Sansui is 32 HBT or something like that.
Toshiba is very good for the price. I have it on authority from madbullram, and he knows what he is talking about. But if you want specifically 26" then go for LG Jazz Atom which has pretty good sound as well as an assured IPS panel.

i juss went to ezone and future bazaar at santa cruz (mumbai). Even i m looking for a 26" / 32 " below 20k for my bedroom. some of the models which i liked and their prices are as given below.

1)Moser Baer K32"HD ---> 18,744
2) Sansui 32"HBA/MA -----> 18,692
3) Haier L32"S9 ----->18,843
4)Akai (LED) 32"D20 ----> 26,000

The best one according to me was the moser baer one, however based on some internet reviews haier seems to be the better one. These prices are there only for today and tomorrow (republic day offer). Hope this info helped u

My friend wants a 32 for master bedroom till 25K. Somehow we found the best PQ was on Akai LED among other major LED brands in ezone. Its HD ready and have 2 HDMI only But at 25k its a fair deal for bedroom set. Anybody owns this?

Akai LED seems a good option as this the most future proof u can go in that budget...

try Anandamela in gariahat, they giv good disc for cash sales...

y dnt u try some co. seconds shop? i saw a shop near Hind cinema dealing with Samsung and LG models...I am sure u will get good options thr...Lcd have minor scratches which are rejected...try it once before goin for a new one u might get a 32inch lcd for the price of 26 or may be even less...it carries the original papers and warranty...

If you can stretch your budget a bit, Panasonic CCFL 32" LCD is available in Bangalore for about 22,000. Cant recall the model number but it is the one which consumes the least power, 78W. But to give you a hint, this is the only LCD from Panasonic which looks somewhat oval.

As far as Calcutta goes, I have no idea where you would get this, here in Bangalore I got this quote from SP Road, with bill warranty and the everything else.

I am sure you have similar places in Calcutta where you can find the same!
