Pioneer Kuro KRL-37V - Kuro Plasma Production Closed, Kuro Now in LCDs

HI,

Pioneer has stopped producing the Kuro plasma range. However the Kuro now comes to LCDs. Was wondering how the quality of the LCDs is compared to it's plasma brother. Has any one got an opportunity for a Demo yet?

Guys please let share info like pricing , contacts, etc...

Hey Rohit, Pioneer is not stopping the Kuro Plasma range....they are merely stopping the production of plasma panels in house....they are going to source the plasma panels from Matsuhita (Panasonic).....the Pioneer Kuro plasma televisions will continue

They are also going to expand the Kuro range to introduce LCDs.....

well why not lcd from sony and samsung already exceed the contrast produced by panasonic 2008 plasmas and are around 30% short of pioneer kuro plasmas,but this will change when lcd manufactures like sony release their bravia XBR 8 with RGB LED backlight,samsung 9 series with LED backlight.
