A couple of movie titles (VCD/ DVD)

Two movies in the best traditions of 'parallel cinema':

- Gaman (Dir: Muzaffar Ali, Cast: Farooque Sheikh, Jalal Aga etc.)
- Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai (Dir: Saeed Mirza, Cast: Naseeruddin Shah et al)

Can't find a decent print in the market; would be ever so grateful if anyone possesses these or can provide pointers on where to procure these. Willing to pay reasonable compensation.

Checked up with a couple of big retailers here-they did'nt have them in stock.
These shld be av in VCD format.
Next time when I go to CP , I'll check up with a few wholesalers in Palika-you could also try the wholesalers route since retailers apparently stock fast moving stuff.

Persi, coincidentally, I had to go to CP this evening so made it a point to visit the Palika Parking Kendra wholesalers.
Checked up all 6 of them.
Acc to them, they have never seen a VCD of Gaman.
Albert Pinto... a couple said that they had sold it but was not in their stock for quite some time now.
So unfortunately, the net result was negative-sorry.
I think the best bet would be Mumbai where VCD's are published.
If some Mumbai member could help out...

rikhav, have tried this but there's no 'add to cart' link on the same page, this probably means out of stock. try searching for another title which is in stock and you'll see 'add to cart' which will enable you to buy it.

similarly the ultra video site lists the movie but it's out of stock.

Okay, now i understand
I spent half an hour searching for the add to cart button

I will try to visit Rhythm House in a few days and check out if they have in stock or if they can order a dvd/vcd and what will be the price

Will let you know the details as soon as I get it

Very sorry to tell you. My friend visited Rhythm House. They say they dont have the dvd/vcd and they cant order it also.

I will ask for it at any other store I visit.

Thanks and no worries mate, I wasn't expecting these to be found at Rhythm House..

Wholesalers are a better bet as Kamal says.. of course, a forum member may have them as well.
