wanted centre and surround channel speakers

As the topic says, i require used centre and surround channel(only) speakers to connect to my onkyo 505(90watt) reciever.

What speakers (I am assuming Front R and Front L) speakers do you have now? It is always best to get the center and surround to match the ones you have. Do you have a sub woofer?

If you provide the specs of your existing speakers, it may become easier for members to make some offers.

i have got 12inch driver 3 way box, Pioneer(180 watts), vintage series, 4ft high which I am using as front speakers. Sub woofer is Elac sub 50. the surrounds and centre speakers are also pioneers which i want to replace with a good one.

Very recently have joined this forum , request you guys to recommend right kind of centre and surround speakers for the following set up.

Monitor : Philips 32TA2800
AVR : Yamaha RX V 457
Front : Jamo E 570 ( 3 yrs old )
Source : Samsung 1080PK

Looking for centre/surround around 15 K.

Serenjith, my apologies. It looks as if nobody replied after my post. I am not sure whether you can get matching speakers from Pioneer anymore. You should look at Wharfedale Diamond 9 series or Mordaunt Short's Avant 900 series. Both are relatively inexpensive but very good speakers. Other brands you could look at are Jamo and Polk Audio. You may need to slowly replace your existing Pioneer speakers with a full set from one of these brands.

I am trying to keep your budget low, and that is the reason am not looking at other brands.

Vaidhy, the best thing for you to do is visit a Jamo shop and ask for advise for speakers to match your E570. If they cannot offer you any, you should look at Wharfedale, Mordaunt Short, Polk Audio, and maybe even Klipsch as Jamo is now owned by Klipsch.

If budget becomes an issue, visit Audiocraft and ask him if he can make special speakers to match your existing Jamo. Mark of Audiocraft may just about surprise you. Take the E570 specs with you when you go to meet him.
