want to buy a hifi rack with minimum 3 shelfs

Hi,
All our dealers have some racks. Some are imported and some they make. Lakozy@ chowpatty has some wooden one while AVI has some aluminium/glass ones. Check them out. Actually have been looking for one too but have not really liked anything.

I'm with that openion. Not going to cost a lot! Buy good quality chrome pipes and made to measure glass. Rest is upto a quality welding guy who can build the rack.

Dinyaar,
i have checked some very good ones available abroad like mapleshade,duadrasphire,Toac,and solidtech but here there is no availability,finite-element are available in delhi,but for that i will have to sell my car

Saw a real solid one at Audio People in Chennai...3 shelves...but quoting 31000 for it....if you can afford it, then it looked worthwhile...

Hi mekr,
Well i went the DIY way a couple of years ago but the end result was really very different from the image i had in my mind. So keeping my skills at bay i feel i should try just buying a nice, sturdy rack but the availability here is patchy at best.
Last may in london i saw some super racks(not atacama) for under 100 quid but the aluminium/glass combo was a whopper 22 kgs which would be a little difficult to bring down so am back to scouting locally in mumbai. Though 31 K as someone suggested is pretty steep.
Any more suggestions or links will be helpful.
