Which AVR and Speakers??
Hi junta.. new here..
looking to enter in the world of AVR + speaker packages.. confused between Onkyo 606 and Denon 1709.. leaning a bit towards Onkyo.. not much diffrence in prices...but still a few expert opinions are welcome. Abt speakers... liked what i heard on Jamo 320 PDD... not looking at floorstanding due to space constraint... any other speaker packages anyone can suggest in similar price range.. getting Jamo for arnd 43k in Mumbai thanks

So we are all Junta, eh? Grrrrrrrrrr  Just joking  Regarding AVRs there have been umpteen discussions on the brands and models you have mentioned. Please read through a few posting in the Forum, 'Surround-Amplifiers-Receivers (Surround Amplifiers/Receivers). There have been specific discussion on the models you have mentioned. BTW, the Onkyo 606 is not comparable to the Denon 1709. The comparable model is Denon 1909. Regarding speakers, please audition a few more brands such as Wharfedale, Polk Audio, Mission, Mordaunt Short, etc. Only if you audition a few brands will you know what you are getting or missing.
