    Is it possible to get 5.1 using Realtek ALC892 over optical port?

    My Motherboard: Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 Receiver: Yamaha HTR 2064 Codec: Realtek ALC 892 Port: Optical Asus promotes this board having 8.1 ch capability, what I am confused is it possible to achieve 5.1 over optical port and if yes how? Because I am not able to achieve it. :/
