Depends on the size... 32 and below, hd ready shud be ok ... But if u dont watch a lot of sports etc, then full hd is recommended even though it has 50 hz panel...size above 40 , u shud go for full hd...

most of the tv's are 60hz at native. however you do get options for 50-60 hz while making it a pc monitor. please mention model as most of the devices you will connect them with will work on 60hz .
