Last night visited a srilankan gent who was selling his
Kenwood KA 58 rack system with LSK 727 speakers. It was not to my liking.

He also had these 1978 Sharp CP-3000H speakers.
Overall sound is good, i picked them.

Neat looking speakers.

One of the woofers seems reconed. which one is the newer one?- the black cone looks more at home in the cabinet.

How is the sound signature? the imaging and accuracy?

Greetings and thx mates,

the right woofer is re-coned(poly) , as you mentioned.
the left is the original paper cone, sounds fine, but the foam has a tiny tear.

planning to get it re-coned during my vacation.

please advice - any reputable repair shops in bangalore/mysore.

Its sounds good, clarity in very good, clean bass, no need to crank up the mid/high knobs......they go way too high.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
