25 Feet XLR or 25 Feet Speaker cables ?

Hello,

Due to space constraints, I cannot keep all my gear near the speakers and hence have 2 options. Please let me know which option is better.

1) Keep only the power amp near the speakers and run approx 25 to 30 feet XLR from the preamp. XLR Cable suggestions - Mogami Gold Studio / BJC / Canare / Belden.

2) Keep power amp along with the rest of the gear and run approx 25 to 30 feet of 12 AWG or 14 AWG speaker wire. Speaker wire suggestions - Mogami / Belden /DAC / Chord.

Go with longer balanced interconnects and shorter speaker cables
