The key is to audition as many speaker systems which appeal in performance, appearance and your budget. Reliance Digital for example sell the Jamos 426 set of 5 speakers without subwoofer for 27k odd which has 2 decent towers, centre and a pair of bookshelf surrounds...you can buy a subwoofer if required later,
If you want something as small as Bose cubes, then look at Boston Acoustics Soundware....5.1 speaker system which is very decent...good VFM.
End of the day it depends on what appeals to your ears and wallet....all the best...
