55cx700d panasonic

hi guys does any one has viewed or purchased 55cx700d. it is around 1.5l, iam interested to buy... waiting for diwali offer.. have a choice to select this or 60as700d (1080p for 1.3l) .. just waiting for diwali sales..

Thats just a full HD panel with 100 Hz Backlight motion rate. Which mean a 50HZ panel.

CX700D is a 4K panel with 800 Hz Backlight motion rate. Which most probably means a 100 Hz or a 200 Hz native panel. Trust that extra 30 K is now more than justified brother.

Dear DRKAVINT,

am planning to buy a 55 inch passive 3d tv.
found this on internet,

with clearly mentioned specs - HDMI (4K 60/50 p with HDCP2.2) 3
Support Feature Audio Return Channel (Input 2).
infibeam has it for Rs. 148,630 /-.

one doubt is in specs it says : 3D-Y (Polarized), does this mean passive 3d glasses?

how is your cx700d performing?

any advice from you would help me in buying the right t.v for my home.

i have written detail review in this forum(another thread)... sometimes i feel its superb, but when i watch sony w950 series(full hd- in my hall), i get irritated, feel cheated by panasonic,.. just when i switch watching from sony to panasonic my heart breaks and weeps for a minute.. i console myself by saying that wait for 4k then panasonic will shine...
samsung is feature rich, sony is picture rich, panasonic is budget friendly..
now i need to invest 1k for new pc, to make sure 4k60fps runs smooth..my present pc is excellent for 1080p, but shoots out at 4k 24fps. panasonic lags.so i downgrade it to 1080p60fps.need to go for new nvideo(just launched1080 graphics ) to boost,,, compared to samsung panasonic is better..( just remember high end of sony and samsung 9 series will humble panasonic, but they are way beyond budget) my strong advice stick to 1080p at present, after hdr sucess go for 4k..
one thing i am sure that compared to all other non hdr tv of sony/samsung panasonic is best, but cannot say with hdr..

wanted to go for Panasonic VIERA TH-55CX700D. but after your reply I am confused.
Sony BRAVIA KDL-55W800D 138 cm (55 inch) Full HD 3D Android LED TV serves my purpose very much than any other 4K. except that I need to buy 10 extra pairs of active 3D glasses @ Rs.2000 each ( for my kids and family friends for get together time ).
making the tv+ extra glasses almost 1.4 L.

As you have both the t.v's to compare side by side everyday, In your opinion which one would you suggest?

between Sony BRAVIA KDL-55W800D 138 cm (55 inch) Full HD active 3D Android LED TV @ Rs. 117,713 / - and Panasonic VIERA TH-55CX700D 4K passive 3D @ Rs 148,630 /-

panasonic 3d is total flop, in the review i have mentioned it... its the worst i have seen...
my 3 years older samsung had better 3d... if u want 3d please forget cx700... never ever even think.. 3d is horrible horrible horrible...sony shines offfff... but i suggest u to go for 9 series in sony. the sad part is size is only 50 inch...
