I was searching for a collection of regional language radio plays broadcasted over the last many decades. This include childrens stories and language lessons as well.
To start with I would like Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit plays, but will be glad to procure Tamil, Kannada or any language material for that matter. Mp3 format is good.
I recall finding the quality of voicing in AIR plays to be exceedingly good with many really talented but unknown artistes lending their voices.
Note that I am not looking for the trash that we hear screeching from modern FM channels. I strongly prefer the undercurrent of Shaanti in peoples voices that comes across in AIR. I am extremely averse to the tone and discomfort with the self portrayed on modern FM radio chatter. Hence please do not post them here.
Is it possible to obtain the archives from AIR directly on CD?
I want to listen to them on my IPod .
Please post links as you encounter them with language in subject line ex: Gujarati play etc....
