I was wondering if anyone could help me in letting me know what is the best solution for Analog Video to Digital Video conversion? From different reviews this is the product I have chosen : ADVC110 - Analog/DV Conversion
Reviews of other products on the same website or otherwise would be highly appreciated.
I have 2 scenarios :
1. To convert some old VHS to DVDs
2. My old Sony HandyCam can output Analog Audio/Video signals directly i.e. without recording it to the tape. I was thinking of recording some home movies on my Laptop through this HandyCam, so its kind of an alternative to a Digital Video Camera.
Dont really have a budget. I have another Sony HandyCam which records to DVD but I dont really like its video quality (bought for 18K). So instead of buying an expensive HD video camera I was thinking of going the AnalogCamera >> DigitalVideoConversion route. Does anyone think its a good idea?
