Android Tablet + FreeNAS + FLAC -> Which music player?

Hi All,

I want FMs to suggest a good music player which can access the FLAC files stores in FreeNAS Box. Basic requirements are

1) Should be able to play MP3, FLAC
2) Facility to list based on ID3 Tag details
3) Facility to create playlist

Free app or don't mind paying? May be too much to ask from a free app. But you never know, no one is most up-to-date with such things.

I can recommend "Folder Music Player". It will do most of what you want plus offer a good playback (sonically).

For NAS access you may have to use another piece, specific to that requirement. This app should mount the NAS share as mount point. Easy to find if you look around.

Hmm.. I already you use meridian player which does everything other than accessing files from NAS. Lemme check some app to mount the NAS so that its visible to all apps

Used an app cifs-manager to mount cifs/nfs partition from freenas on the android tablet. Now any music/video player is able to access the files from nas box
