Is static such a big deal in India? I have never experienced the sort of static you find abroad in India.

Is the anti static gun to be used on both sides of the record? or is it enough on any one side? Anti static effect will remain for how long time after used anti static gun? Is it safe using the gun near by MC cartridges? Any chance of magnetizing the moving coils? Thanks.
