Anyone buy and shipped used audiophile gear from abroad, customs problems?

Just curious if anyone has bought used audiophile gear from abroad.

Have you gotten it shipped to India?

Do you encounter problems with customs, how do you avoid the hefty 40% duty?

You don't avoid the duty sir... Also if it is electronics then it has to undergo BIS testing for which you will end up paying cash to customs through an agent ... Do let us know what component you want to import and from where so we can advise you better..
