i have been trying to build a 7.1 home theatere for my PC but iam bit confused in some portions of the process
Selecting the amplifiers
I have decided to use an amplifier made of 4440 IC which would give me a 80W output is that enough??
Selecting speakers
I have bought 6 pioneer 120W 6 inch dual speakers (inbuilt tweeter-- Buzzer type) for my front left/right and Surround speakers (4 Nos) . Now i doubt that using woofers would cut our some of my frequencies, so do i need to convert them( Re-Cone) them to Full range speakers?
Selecting center channel
for this i have decided a 3 in one box which has two 4 inch woofers (Small woofers has better high frequency response) and a 6 inch Full range .. is that enough?
Selecting Sub woofers
i don't need a deep bass ..an average would do ..so what should be the size of my Sub woofer. i am planing to buy a sub woofer amp working on 12V dc is that good?
and more over my room is 12*20 ft in dimension
