Audio not recognized - philips blu ray player

Hi,

I have a basic philips blu ray player and when I play 3d movies downloaded from internet - half SBS videos - it plays video alright in 3d but says audio not supported...any ideas why and any solutions?

Only other way is that I directly plug the pendrive into my Panny X50 - this however means audio is on TV speakers and not on my HT speakers

Use mediainfo tool to know which audio format the file has. To get sound from avr, connect optical out of tv to AVR.

If You are plugging your usb directly in tv then try to use Digital Audio Output (Optical) of TV to send the stream to your AVR and see if there is sound.
