Audiophile OS !!

Hi,

I was searchign for a lightweight OS for my old laptop and came across "Audiophile OS" which says "Bit-Perfect audio on Linux!".

There are few reviews/information about this OS and hence the post, want to know if anybody has configured it ?

My HTPC needs Sound card driver, Wifi dongle driver, a browser, audio player and file system to store audio files.

While watching OTT content I basically need full screen removing top and bottom scope bars ( this is a plus point while using firestick or inbuild Android) with good audio.

Any info wolud be helpful.

Would suggest against installing fancy OS and to stick with known OS like Rhel, Centos etc. Main reason being the lack of technical support and driver support for your devices.

This OS is most suitable for audio not video, so not much video apps or codecs will be there. mainly for use as a transport for external dac, so very unlikely many sound card drivers will also be there

Do try Euphony Audio! This is audio only!!!

check out kodi, you can install your favorite OS (windows, linux, mac)
Install kodi on it. Kodi is made for HTPC purpose, well known and large community.

Also checkout LibreElec it's just enough linux os with kodi.
