Understand you have a very good budget.. But not sure on what is aval in your city/town.. List some of the speakers that you have auditioned and the one you like, and then you can narrow it down..

Hi markboy....

You do have a great budget there. But the absolute best is very ear dependent, and difficult to decide by others.

So audition and see. But if the absolute best is what you want for 4000 pounds, I would suggest going for pre loved gear. There is great value to be had going second hand.

And secondly, owners selling gear at that price range, are open to auditions. So you can listen to speakers in well setup systems. And this might not be available with all the dealers around.
