Best DVD Players

Please suggest a DVD Player with the best output when played with Denon 1601, Wharfdale Diamond 10.1/2 & JBL 5.1. The player should be able to play all DVDs original and copied without any hassles and should be able to play DVDs of all regions.

Budget my friend?

For around 6K to 7K, Pioneer players are the best. Look for model 440.

If you are ready to play around 15K, pick up the Oppo 981 available as yet.

CA also makes a DVD Player around 15K which is very good.

Best Player is Oppo .

The Farajudia chip in Oppo does wonders for Upscaling . The only issue is some times there are firmware problems . Analog out doesn't work well . Optical and Coax use this is the best .

Philips are better than Sony as Sony DVDp may reject few discs.

and between Philips and Pioneer how are they different

Differnce is PQ,upscaling.Both have mostly mediateck chip,still performance of pioneer is better.
