Guys,

Am Planning to collect the best (50 or 100) Action movies as My HDD is hungry for the same. Could you share the Top 10 or Top 5 Hollywood movies which is heavy packed with Action.I shall pick the common film from Consolidated One which in sense had covered most of your our hearts.

Awaiting for your replies

Initial plan is to watch all the action movies "making a A month Off to office "once my HT is ready for the Game.

Predator (1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger) is one of my favorites. I still watch it frequently.

Batman Trilogy (Christian Bale movies)
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Casino Royale
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
Kill Bill Vol. 1 & vol. 2
The Rock (another old favorite)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (melancholic action - I will take credit for inventing the phrase).
Iron Monkey (lots of fun)
Kung Fu Hustle (lots of fun)
Hard Boiled (I like most of Chow Yun-Fat's work)
Lethal Weapon (another old favorite)
Matrix Trilogy (coolest SFX ever)
Terminator Trilogy (the Arnold Schwarzenegger movies)

Die Hard Quadrology (there is a 5th on the way)
Fast & Furios Series (5 with a 6th on the way)
Inception (not exactly action but the SFX will make it worth your while)

Well the list can be too big to be listed here, but as you said TOP 10, so here is the list what I think falls in my top 10, which I can watch over a lifetime.

1. Batman Trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises)
2. Rambo (All the 4 movies)
3. The Bourne Series (3 Movies)
4. 300
5. James Bond (Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace)
6. Kill Bill (1&2)
7. The Expendables
8. Gladiator
9. Mission Impossible (All the 4 movies)
10. Die Hard (All the 4 movies)

That is about 40 hours of sheer entertainment to keep you off your office. You lucky man!!

Oh God, the list is superb and i have completed collecting nearly 30% of the movies in the list, will search for the others and fill my HDD,

The main reason am not hosting for data in Other Portals is that, i got a too bad experience while searching for Best horror film and it was "28 Days Later", i downloaded and saw the same too.. so this exp made me to to make this thread


@Saketb- its been 5 years am started running towards Making Money, and now just a break to Enjoy the time,(Even 40 Hours not enough)

Coma is exactly not a pure action movie, but a really good thriller, one of the best with young Michael Douglas..

Another suggestion like back to the future also can't be termed as an action movie, is more of a fantasy kind of movie.

My pick

1. Predator
2. Rambo
3. Die Hard
4. Mission Impossible (all four)
5. Bourne series (first three)
6. Terminator 1 & 2
7. Broken Arrow
8. Face Off
9. Speed
10. No country for old man

There are few others like Seagall Movies, Van Damme Movies and Robocop Series etc, thogh not great but you can pass your time watching some of them.

Never forget "Hitman" - terrific movie.

1. MI (All of them, Ghost Protocol has some awesome action)
2. Bourne Trilogy
3 Taken
4. James Bond - Skyfall (if you want to test your Projector or subwoofer, nothing better than this. But i didn't like the action that much).
5. Behind Enemy lines (missile chasing warplanes scene is a classic)
6. Zero Dark Thirty (i just loved this movie, can't tire watching it)
