In lines of thread by @aeroash , lets list out Cover/Unplugged/Alternate versions of your favorite songs, or independent music from Youtube. Any language, any genre. I feel our not so mainstream artists do produce excellent works.

Eva Cassidy’s cover version of Sting’s ‘Fields of Gold’. Even by Sting’s own admission she did a better job than him.

Unfortunately, the singer passed away at a raw age soon after. But has left behind a smallish body of work that her fans like me will cherish forever
