Blu Ray on Rent

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is any blu ray rental service in Pune? Or other places just to know such things still continues. I know in my native place they do have dvd rental services.

I doubt there would be one. It's the age of Amazon prime, Netflix,etc now.

I remember a store in Chennai, called Nathan DVD store, who did rental services on DVD / BR Discs, but that was long back, not sure if they still do that.. Long time since i have checked..

But blue ray local play back is much better than Netflix for audio because I think Netflix dont give lossless master audio in
streaming due to bandwidth limitation.
Now a days like audio CD not many blue rays (south Indian movies) are released. Not sure why. I want to buy few and found no options.

That's why I don't think Streaming services can beat BluRay. May be we should have group in a city where we can exchange discs and enjoy best of our systems!

Even, i had stop watching south indian movies because of this issue since 2015. But, due to streaming services, we are at least able to watch south indian movies in 5.1 dolby sound. I would also want that all movies blu ray should be released. But, alas, the indian film industry do not care for us.
