Buying from Flipkart/Amazon.in/Snapdeal

Hi Guys,
I'm new here and I wanted to know if any of you have bought a TV from online retails like Flipkart and soon.
I need to know if they sell you genuine brand new products or Showroom display pieces.
I have this doubt due to the difference of prices between them and local retailers.

Some of the manufacturers (for example Sony), mention on their website which online websites are authorized to sell their products. They specifically say that they may not honour warranty for others.
