Hi guys,
Need some suggestions/advice here. Soon I will be moving back to India, right now I am in US. I have bought and sold a couple of good speakers during my stay here and would like to build my HT set up in Delhi once i get there. If i buy a pair of speakers and a sub and bring it with me and pay the duty, would that be better than buying almost same kind of speakers in India from a reputed dealer? I don't have any idea how the prices are in India.
The speakers i have in mind are Martin logan Motion 40 and Monitor audio BX6.

I would appreciate any inputs. Thanks :)

If you already have the speakers and move them to India under TR scheme, it's beneficial. But if you buy at MRP plus pay freight and customs it's not worth it (except if those are high end products with Indian MRP two times the US MRP).

Even under TR, the cost of shipping LCL (less than container load) can be around $400 for a pallet, Vs $2500 for a full container. Bringing as checked in baggage will limit your options.
