Yes Panditji, I guess these are their business investments. But I am not clear as to what 'Cadence' products they manufacture these days. Any information about these 'past masters'?

Mr. Shirke is busy with the BCCI and I doubt if he will interfere with the functioning.. Spendor seems to be doing well and in fact came up with a new flagship after Mr. Shirke bought the company...

I contacted SME for a tonearm recently, the price has gone up by 20K and pound has gone down. Go figure.

In fact SME prices in India have increased steadily, Re 50 K for M2-9 approx five years ago, to 85 K two years ago and 1.15 as of now. Way beyond inflation I would think.

There are in my experience (25 plus years) two kinds of dealers that have emerged in India. One that tries to sell as close to international prices as they can with a margin and customs, who carry good but not swank products. The second which ask for whatever price they like and they carry not audio products but status emblems.

It takes all kinds I guess
