Can Bose quite comfort 3 work as HD headphone

Dear FM,

I have Bose quite comfort 3 noise cancelling headphone, can this be compared with senhieser HD650 and will it be same or its worth going for HD650.

When I hear music over my Iphone the bose is good but I am not sure about how good will it be adding to a dedicated headpohone amp and a dac. Can the bose perform well for HD audios, I mean even DSD.

You honestly can't compare the two.

The bose QC are fantastic for noise cancelling and are the best in the field in that area, but for sound quality, the HC650 will destroy them.

HD 650 are of different league. The two can not be compared. If you a purist listener stock with HD 650 or similar. Bose sounds so artificial in my ears.
