cheap cd player as cd transport + miniDAC PCM1793

i need inputs from experts here in this forum. will a cheap cd player as cd transport + miniDAC PCM1793 will give performance closer to high end cd players such as marantz or cambridge audio!?
the opinions posted here will help me decide on purchasing used audiophile grade cd player (http://www.hifivision.com/wanted/25670-budget-audiophile-cd-player.html posted in wanted section).

decide to buy if reputed forum member , there are cheats who sell used audio gear , repaired with lowcost component , be careful

i would suggest rosewood audio dac alike with a lappy ...awe some flexibility
