Do not blindly trust every seller or buyer! Protect yourself by following the below safe trading tips.

Safety Tips

For Buyers

  1. Always meet the seller at a safe location and inspect the item before purchasing. Following this one rule will help you avoid most scams.
  2. Watch out for unrealistic offers. If it appears too good to be true, it probably is. Unrealistic offers are used to motivate purchasers to make hasty decisions.
  3. Always verify the seller's credentials. Ask the seller to provide a photo ID and proof of address.
  4. The best way to transact is to collect the item and pay at the same time. Never transfer funds or use a debit/credit/atm card to pay someone you do not know before collecting an item.
  5. Ask for clear information on condition of the item, price, payment and delivery method.
  6. Use only those payment methods that you trust and are familiar with. Never give out your financial information.
  7. It is recommended to purchase items directly from the seller.
  8. Always test the functioning of the item before purchase.
  9. Do your research on comparative prices for the product.

For Sellers

  1. Try to take the full payment at the time of the delivery. Remember to use a safe location to meet.
  2. Watch out for fake currency and money orders. Be aware that banks will not honour fake currency/money order and will hold you responsible for it.
  3. Verify the buyer’s credentials if necessary.
  4. Ensure that your product meets the features you list in your ad to avoid any misunderstanding with the buyer.
  5. Do not share your financial information except the one required for payment.

Thank u guys so much. Does anyone have any experience with a RME ADI 2 DAC?

@panditji is the chord that good? Worth the money?

The metrum amethyst is about 75k

The other option is a audiolab mdac plus.

Any experience with those?

I just wanted to clarify one thing. I want the DAC for my sources which are a Cambridge can and a maranta cdp6006. I won’t be connecting a laptop. So now the question is, do I need a DAC for my cane and cdp?

I had the marantz pm6005. Which had the same chip as the cdp. Don't know about the implementation. May or may not be the same.

Music with Gumby is a very different experience from the pm6005. Can I attribute the DAC over the speakers amps source lps and various other things I have changed since then. I suppose yes nothing can show you what's not in the dacs output. I wouldn't start a comparison with the pm6005. A few days back the son and I were wondering how the presentation would be with my fiio dac, which I reluctantly bought in my all dacs are the same stage ;) then we thought briefly and said naah. Buber and then bimby generated details that the pm6005 could not show with the same rig. In my inexact triangulation the pm6005 is better than the fiio. As always, preferences are personal, listening adapts to what there is, but I predict that you might get a nice step up, in detail and the small stuff that absolutely matters, in the bass, in staging etc with the change.

Ciao

Also panditji, the chord quetest is not available for now on headphonezone. It's says a few months for arrival sadly.

Hmm, what is Cambridge Can? Do you mean CXN? It has digital inputs. Another DAC makes sense if you don't like the DAC it has.

Will let you know about the RME DAC next week, mine's on the way.
Well if this one sounds as good as it looks on paper, then just go for it.
@celester340 , do drop in home after 15th with your favourite music. Let's have a good time.
Damn, I so want to join you two for that session.
