Planning to build my 2 way FS. Everything seems new as Im kinda steppin' in after almost 14 years and back to DIY :yahoo:. From some of threads here and some assistance from Ritchie Street I came across some 6.5" Peerless Fabrikkerne Drivers. Planning to get them from diyaudiocart.com and narrowed to the following models:
S16NI or SM16IH (both 4 ohms, @ 50 W RMS and Fs @ avg 45 to 50 Hz)
Question: (As compared to my Pure Acoustics Supernova 5 series)
1) Performance - How impressive are they in delivering deep/clean bass?
2) Aesthetics - Quality of finish? as I couldn't make it out from the glossy cone image
