It is an excellent DAC and as a bonus a superb Preamp as well. I have been using mine primarily as a DAC and it has a warm, lush and very analog sound.

It is a work in progress Brat88. I have not yet reached the stage where I am ready to hop off the upgrade wagon entirely, but I am quite satisfied the way this system sounds now.
