Hi all, would like to get feedback regarding these speakers from those who have owned (or currently using) them:
  • Quad S5
  • Triangle Esprit Antal
  • Dali Opticon 8

The shop will be getting the demo units of Antal and Opticon 8 by late July. They only have S5 at the moment, will be visiting them mid June for a demo.

Current setup:
  • Speaker: Dali Menuet (plan to be replaced)
  • Turntable: Clearaudio Performance DC (using Ortofon 2M Black)
  • Phono Stage: Croft Acoustic RIAA
  • Integrated Amp: Roksan Kandy K2
  • CD Player: Roksan Kandy K2

Room: 4.5m x 4.5m (14ft x 14ft)

Music: Jazz, Heavy Metal, electronics and hip hop

And whether I need to consider to upgrade the amplifier to get the best performance on these new speakers

Many thanks guys.
