Frequency Response Test for Ear & Gear

At this moment I am trying hard to know my (or my gear's) limitation. Do share your findings also..............

I start to feel something around 25Hz and up to 18 KHz, except at around 14 kHz I hear almost nothing (just for a second) then again I start to hear the tone up to 18 KHz.

I do not know if it is normal phenomenon to loss hearing around particular frequency (in my case 14 KHz). Isn't it odd? Is this anything to do with my system (headphone amp and headphones)?

I will be grateful if any one share his opinion.

At 42, it is same with me so not to worry if you are around same age.

I could hear upto 18.7khz (below 19khz for sure)

I can hear only up to 14 kHz.
Which gives me a good idea to play a prank on others using the high frequencies *tee hee*
