Happened to hear the Fyne Audio 500 bookshelf speakers and the Fyne Audio 502 Floor Standers paired with the NAD M10 which Is an all in one (amplifier with dac and network streamer). Also does Bluetooth and has Dirac Room correction

Did not play around with M10 much but heard both the speakers and I liked what I heard keeping in mind the relative limitations from the amplifier

The system was paired keeping convenience in mind and it was for someone who wanted something very compact which could make good music without occupying too much space and added convenience of a brilliant mobile app.

Still the M10 for its footprint is no slouch for how much features it has.

Started with The 502 floorstanders and mainly heard the following tracks
Allan Taylor – The Beat Hotel
Tears For Fears – Woman in Chains
Rimsky Korsakov - Dance Of The Tumblers

Sound had a good open and wide sound stage with good air in the highs. Allan Tyalor’s voice had a good body and did not sound shallow in any way. Texture in his voice was very good
With Tears for Fears again there were the airy highs and good body to the vocals. Where it lacked little bit was in the lower bass which was tad slower. My guess is the bigger speakers needed something way more meatier then the M10, but since the ultimate aim of the setup was convenience there was no point complaining. But one could get an idea with a dedicated 2 channel integrated or power amp these speakers would perform at a different level all together

Since I was short of time, quickly shifted to the smaller 500 bookshelves and the moment it started playing it was pretty apparent that the bigger 502s needs something more powerful to bring out the best in it. Again I have to say the M10 is no slouch for what it does in such a small factor but if audio reproduction from power hungry speakers is your final aim without caring much about convenience then probably M10 is not for you

When “Dance of the Tumblers” was played with the bookshelves it had good PRAT which would make the track more enjoyable. Ofcourse there was limited low end due to the size but it was clean and fast

All in all both are pretty good musical speakers in their respective categories.
Not very good with my words so keeping it short and the visit happened more then a month ago but i never got time to write about it
