I use a projector as my viewing device for TV. I have a receiver set up for my 5.1 system. Now I have run an HDMI cable through the ceiling between projector and the receiver. When I was adjusting the wires on receiver I broke of the connector bit of the HDMI. Now I have no more space in the ceiling to run a new HDMI cable. Is there anything else I can do? Can I repair this HDMI? Is there a way I can wirelessly transmit from receiver to projector? I have Pioneer VSX 924/1124 receiver and Epson TW 550 projector.

Hi

You may need to check with dealers who have specialist who make custom length HDMI cables...perhaps that specialist can be called in to replace the connector if possible as a first step...check the charges involved and then only take a call on it...

In terms of wireless transmission from projector to AVR....that's doubtful as I have not heard about that yet...not sure if it was even experimented....perhaps a google search on the same may yield some results if anyone has done it...all the best..

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
