Hello, I am interested in the Dynaudio Emit M30 for a stereo setup, but a demo is an issue. For all the Dynaudio owners, would it be good predominantly for Heavy metal / Rock music, if so would the NAD 356 amp be suited for it. I feel a more musical amp like Roksan Kandy or Rotel would be better. Many thanks in advance for your inputs.

I have not owned dynaudio speakers. For that matter no high end speakers. But if you listen loud (Obvious with rock and Heavy Metal) you will need sub or speakers that can handle such power. See if you can find videos on youtube of dynaaudio M30. It will give 1% idea if it can handle it since audition is not available. Look for speakers that can handle power and provide sufficient bass. Generally speaking ofcourse.
Regards.

Agree with Hiten. Book shelf speakers in general might not be suitable for bassy music. You will either need to go for sub or floor standers with sufficient low end.
